Pets
Adopting a pet was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was a great experience to be able to choose a pet that worked well with my children and me and to make sure that we found the right one for our home. The first thing that we did was to make sure we went through all the necessary steps where we lived to ensure that having a pet was alright. Once we got approved and accepted to have a pet, then we started slowly getting the things that our pet would need in our home. We knew that we wanted a cat, so we started getting cat toys, a cat brush, nail clippers, cat shampoo, litter, a litter box, and finally, food. We researched the best and closest vet that was reasonably priced and we made sure we brought all the necessary documents as well as everyone in the family to the Humane Society to choose our cat to adopt. We spent a good amount of time at the Humane Society visiting with the cats, paying attention to them, and seeing which one worked best for our family and would fit right in. After two and a half hours there, we finally found the cat that was just right for us, and we were excited to hear that we got accepted for a cat adoption. We were happy to take her home and introduce her to her new surroundings.

True Confessions (Part Two)
True Confessions (Part Two) Ethan Tandum, age 20, is part of a very close group of friends. They all went to the same high school together and became best friends. They even decided to enroll into the same college. Ethan felt pretty good about the fact that his friends were so trustworthy, they had all been through a lot together lately and it made him feel good to know that such friends still existed. He trusted them with his life so he thought it was finally time to have a discussion with his group of friends and tell them what's been going on with him. He knew he could trust them, knew they were loyal, but some secrets were best left until the timing was right. This particular group of friends had been through a lot in the last few years, so he knew that it wasn't the right time to tell his friends what he was going through, so he had waited until the time was right to say anything. He only hoped that his friends would understand why he hadn't said anything about his problem before now.

The Music Box
Alexis just turned 16 and her mother told her that she could have a slumber party with her two best friends, Sasha and Allie, tonight to celebrate. Alexis was never more excited for the school day to be over with and practically ran out of the double doors after the final bell rang to get into her mother's car. She was talking to her mom about what they would need to get at the store they were headed to in order to make sure everything was set in place for tonight when her two friends showed up around 6 PM. They pulled up into the parking lot of the store, went inside, got a shopping cart, and started getting the items they would need. Not long after they entered the cart was half full of paper plates, napkins, plastic cups, four frozen pizzas, chips, dip, a veggie tray that Alexis' mom insisted on, juice, water, and some caffeine free soda as well. It all looked so wonderful and then Alexis' mom got an already made cake, some ice cream, a 'Happy Birthday' banner, and some already made gourmet cookies. Alexis helped her mom put the purchases in the trunk and soon they were headed home. Alexis just could not wait. Her mom was even nice enough to ask to get off of work early to help set everything up for the party. This definitely was going to be a night to remember.

Parenting Hacks
There are many approaches to life and how we manage them can be important. I am a single mom of three daughters that I raise completely on my own. So I have developed some much needed lifehacks that can save time, energy, and even money. I have learned these throughout the years and still use them today. These hacks are great for even two parents raising children but essentially come in handy for those who raise children on their own. These are valuable tools though that can help any parent.
