A Christmas Story
A few years ago I was living in my home town, Bethlehem PA, when I passed through a difficult time with my fiance. Despite thinking we were on the same page as far as our future was concerned, I slowly began to realise that in fact, we were worlds apart in terms of our hopes, ambitions and dreams. Jeff was a homeboy who wanted no more than to continue with his steady job at the local mall and find a nice home girl who just wanted to stay at home and have babies and cook and clean, all to satiate his selfish male desire to be in control of my entire life.

The Real Meaning Of Christmas
It is a sense of great sadness that I speak of the passing of Shane MacGowan of The Pogues. Clearly, the man was a tortured soul with serious alcohol and drug addictions. As somebody once said, all great artists are also piss artists. It seems that getting spaced out of your mind is all part and parcel of being a genius. Ultimately, it is a condition that inevitably leads to decline and self-destruction. All we are left with is a legacy of the art that such people created whilst they were alive and at their peak.

Help!
Hello everybody. I hope you are all doing well. I haven't been around for about two months for personal reasons, like three weeks in Europe and a whole host of other matters I had to deal with. And it is one of those other matters that I need some help with.

How To Self-Publish Your Own Book
So you finally want to publish your own best-selling novel, a blockbuster series of short stories, or maybe a heart-melting collection of memorable poetry. The only thing keeping you from lifelong fame and fortune is the lack of opportunity to have your legendary scribblings introduced to a wider public audience.

Flying On A Wing And A Prayer
Tomorrow I am traveling to Spain, and I am very happy it is not with the national airline, Iberia. The best two airlines I have used for this trip have been British Airways and Cathay Pacific. In both cases the punctuality, efficiency at the airport, and the levels of comfort and service were excellent. This is a lot more than I can say for Iberia.

Learn Here How To Speak Spanish Fluently
As somebody who speaks Spanish fluently, I have often been asked which is the best way to learn a language, be it English, Spanish, or Japanese. The answer I give is based directly on my own experience as a dual language communicator and professional teacher.

For The Love Of Spain
They say that life is a journey, and the next part of my journey is to Europe. On Monday my wife and I fly from Tokyo, Japan, to the Middle East and then on to Madrid in Spain. After one night in the Capital, we will fly South to Andalucia, where I still have a rented apartment full of all my stuff.

The Importance Of Meaningless Conversation
There is a term for what many people consider to be a meaningless conversation or useless communication, and the term is ‘Phatic’. Some might call it ‘small talk’ or ‘chit chat’ and believe that it serves no useful purpose. I disagree.

How To Get The Best Deal
The average American buys a new car every six years. A new car salesman sells cars all day long, every day of his working life. As an ex car salesman I used to sell about forty to fifty cars a month. No guessing then who is the most experienced negotiator and as such most likely to get the better deal. It's what you might call a no brainer. However, read on and just maybe you can learn how to swing the odds a bit more in your favour the next time you go to buy a new car or sell your old one.

All Life Is Binary
In many ways, life is binary, consisting of negative and positive, pain and pleasure, true and false, yes and no. Of course, there are those that will say that we have to take account of what we might call grey areas. However, in my life long experience, the grey zone is many times reduceable to a simple yes or no.
