Avocado and my taste buds did not agree when they initially met.
I thought avocado had an uneasy color and vague taste.
I was close minded to avocado and its possibilities to enhance my life for better living and essential benefits.
Avocado is the fruit of the Persea americana, also known as an avocado tree.
Also known as a superfood, avocados truly do bring more food journeys and possibilities to your table.
The pear-shaped versatile fruit ranging from green to black is also known as an "alligator pear.". It's pear -shaped and green, bumpy skin resembles an alligator.
Avocados has a variety of nutrients, vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin K, Folate, Vitamin C, various Vitamin B's and potassium. Avocados also contain minimal amounts of magnesium, manganese, copper and iron.
Avocados do not contain cholesterol and very low in sodium.

1. Avocados have more potassium than bananas.
One avocado has three times the amount of potassium than one banana. Eating avocados can play an active role in reducing blood pressure.
