Alright so a little back story for this bomb ass sandwich right here. A few friends and I where smoking Marijuana and one of our friends had the Chicken Alfredo Pizza from Pizza Hut (which has, Alfredo sauce, Mozzarella, and Chicken). It was fantastic, you should like, get that right now cause oh my goodness. BUT, if you don't feel like pizza then make this. Anyways, that got me thinking.

'I like meatball subs, BUT WHAT IF I made that, but with Chicken Alfredo.'. Now, I'm not that big of a fan of red sauce myself but, I love Chicken Alfredo so I told my friends and they thought it was a great idea. So the next day we went to Aldi's, which is where you can get everything you need to make this for a decent price.

For 6 Subs

  • 2 lbs. of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (Fresh or Frozen).

2 15 oz. of Alfredo Sauce (I used Four Cheese Blend).

Provolone (Slices) and Mozzarella (Shredded).

3 Garlic Bread Loafs.

Canola Oil (Or preferred oils or oil substitutes).

Garlic Powder, Italian Spices, Meat Tenderizer Powder, Pepper, and Salt to taste.

Tongs and a spoon or a ladle.

Large Non-Stick Skillet, Large Pot, and a Baking Sheet.

Prepping and Cooking

  1. First cut your Chicken into decent size slices (Yes slices). Cut the Breast about 1 inch thick slices then put them in a bowl with Canola Oil and use Garlic Powder, Pepper, and Meat Tenderizer Powder to your taste.
  2. Next, Heat a non-stick skillet to medium heat and throw your slices of Chicken Breast in and cover with a lid. Pre heat your oven to 400 degrees at this time.
  3. Then, while your Chicken is cooking get a largepot and heat up your Alfredo Sauce. Add Garlic Powder, ItalianSpices, Pepper, and Salt to taste (I think Alfredo Sauce can use some spices). Make sure to stir every now and then because it does tend to stick to your pot.
  4. Let your ChickenBreast cook until they are brown, crispy, and done. Make sure they are crisp on both sides for a nice crunch on the outside but juicy on the inside. Turn off your heat, and transfer the Chicken into your Alfredo Sauce while keeping it on lowheat with a lid so they will stay nice and toasty.
  5. After putting your Chicken into the Alfredo Sauce cut your bread loafs in half and put them on your baking sheets. Add provolone to one side of the halve and mozzarella to the other halve and slide them into your oven. Take out your bread halves once your cheese is nice and melted.
  6. Finally, plate your bread halves and use tongs to get out your Chicken slices first and place them on your bread in a line like you would for a meatball sub. Then using a ladle or a spoon, drizzle on however much of the Alfredo Sauce you would like for your sub.

And there you have it. Chicken Alfredo Subs. They are probably the best things I've ever made in my life. I hope you all enjoy and have a great dinner meal! Thank you!
