We all have a favorite drink that brings happiness to our taste buds. Whether it's juices, smoothies, icy coffees, or teas, it goes with our mood for the day. In this article, I'm going to explain to you about the drinks I consume daily in my life, and the drinks I avoid consuming.

Soda Drinks

I used to drink soda when I was a young kid. It would excite me with its fizzy foam, or sweet taste. I was even told that it has been loaded with sugar, but I didn't care. After all, kids never cared about what goes into their bodies. I would enjoy soda drinks until I got older, and made wiser health decisions. I wanted to lower my sugar intake to avoid diabetes, obesity, and numerous health problems. Diet sodas can be very misleading; I never trusted them. It is very sad how commercials are brainwashing us to consume their overly sugared liquids, while they consume our money. To top this all off, I decided to stop consuming soda drinks in order to save myself from future harmful health issues. Better to be safe than sorry.

Energy Drinks

I remember tasting an energy drink. I was 15 years old and camping somewhere on camping grounds. A former boyfriend gifted me an energy drink. Venom was the name. I thought I was going to die drinking it, but I didn't. Anyway, I've been told that energy drinks were full and loaded with sugar; more sugar than sodas. I've tasted Monster energy, and that shit made my heart race. There were rumors about Redbull containing something very... unsettling for me to type this. Redbull doesn't give you wings. Stop giving into their propaganda bullshit. They just want your money. So overall, I quit drinking energy drinks, because I want to keep my health in harmony, and my heart at its modest BPM ( beats per minute).

Coffee

For coffee, I drink it on occasion. Yes, I'll even go to Starbucks, but I'll only order a caramel macchiato. I can do black coffee; it is there when I need a pick-me-up. I have nothing against coffee, really. I even tried this butter coffee and it was so good. It gave me the energy I need and no jitters. Whenever I drink coffee, I would get the jitters. So, in summary, I drink coffee on rare occasions. I prefer iced coffee, though.

Tea

Here it comes, everyone! I LOVE to drink tea! I'm such a tea fiend. Iced or hot, it's my drink to have. I ordered it A LOT at restaurants and coffee shops. I don't like mine sweetened, but if you prefer your tea sweetened, then you do you. Everybody is labeling tea as leaves and water, but I label it as the best drink in the universe crafted from the finest herbs. LOLs. It's hard to choose a number one favorite one. I'll drink any of them, but I'm going to tell them no sweetener. When I buy a bottle of tea, I check the bottle if there's no sugar. If it's unsweetened, then I'll buy it. If it has sugar in it, then I'll put it back. Those are just my rules for buying tea.

Water

Water is life! Water is what we need. I love water. This is going to be short. I also like carbonated and sparkling water. Even lemon water. Water is the key to living. It is a blessing for us and the world. Drink your water and stay cool and hydrated.

Juice

I love to drink juice, but I prefer juices cleanly pressed. Fresh organic clean vegetables and fruits pressed to liquid perfection. I even drink lemon juice. I just love sour drinks. I don't understand how there are juices up on the market loaded with sugar. Is sugar really necessary for drinks? The fruit is called nature's candy, so why destroy it with more sugar? Not to sound "elitist," but I think we can do better with organically pressed juices; just by purchasing them or making them at home.

Smoothies

Ah yes, smoothies, the drink with a combination of fruits and veggies. Blended in harmony delivering a sweet sensation to our tastebuds. I haven't had smoothies in forever. My favorite one was strawberry banana. I used to make them at home. Now, I'm seeing smoothie bowls everywhere. I do want to try them. I'll only have a smoothie every once in a while.

Conclusion.

In conclusion, dear reader, I have told you my opinions of the beverages that I consume, and stopped consuming. I permanently quit drinking sodas and energy drinks. And I thank you for reading this.

The End.
