Puppy Chow
Over the holidays, I have made a lot of sweets. One of the most popular that I made was puppy chow. It was surprising to me, as I found myself sharing the recipe over and over, that there are a lot of people who have never eaten puppy chow or that have never even heard of it. Mostly older generations, it seems did not grow up with this treat, as I did. (Shocking, right?!) Since this is a recipe that I absolutely love making and eating, I've decided that is important to share it with anyone who may not know of its existence.

Easiest Cookie Recipe on Earth
We've all been there. Minding our own business, when suddenly, the sweet tooth hits. It's likely that you're not going to want to get all the ingredients out to make a homemade cake or your famous chocolate chip cookie recipe that uses no less than 15 steps. Who has the time or energy for that? It's times like this when you need something simple and easy—and most importantly, tasty! I had searched and searched through recipes online, made changes to some, left out ingredients, etc, and nothing had seemed to be both easy to make and good enough to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. Then one day, when I wasn't even looking for it, the best recipe came to me (with the help of a friend)! The easiest cookie recipe I've come across was given to me by a friend in High School years ago and since then, it's become my go-to recipe. (And for good reason, too). The whole thing can be easily completed in no time!

The Michigan Dogman
I've been interested in Cryptozoology, the paranormal, and supernatural all my life, but I'd never had such a clear encounter with anything until sometime in mid-October, 2016 in West Michigan. In my home, we have a large picture window that allows us to see the neighbors' backyard, garden, and the road in front of the house. My dog spends most of his day looking out this window, barking at the people and their dogs as they pass by. Usually, this usually happens toward the beginning of the day, rarely in the evening. So, when he starts growling at the window at 9:00 at night, I glance out to see what he could be looking at, concerned that someone is up to no good and lurking around.
