Hot chocolate was my all-time favourite growing up. During the winter, after every single time I went sledding or skiing, my dad would take me to the local Tim Hortons, and I some nice, warm hot chocolate. What I didn’t know though was that the ingredients in the drink weren’t that healthy and in reality, were only decreasing my immunity.

So, here’s a hot chocolate recipe that has the reverse effect, increasing your immunity, and that you’re able to make and have in the comfort of your own home.

It not only calms the mind and relaxes the body but it also enhances mood, which is definitely beneficial in during the Winter, when you don’t get as much vitamin D due to the lack of sun. It’s so incredibly powerful that one cup of matcha tea has as many antioxidants as 10 cups of brewed green tea.
